Serco has announced that it will restart its program of lock-changes targeted at people living in asylum accommodation. We condemn this callous and uncaring move, forcing hundreds of displaced people into an untenable position where they will be at risk of homelessness and destitution.
‘No Evictions’ is a campaign formed specifically to fight these evictions, to support those people affected, and to campaign for those in power to act on their duties of care.
In this crucial moment, we call for an immediate halt to all lock changes.
We are calling on people in our network and beyond to prepare for mass protests and civil disobedience in support of all those who will be punished by Serco’s brutal actions. We will be organising to build our network of solidarity and oppose these evictions.
Please show your support by getting in touch via email or through the page if you would like to be involved in the campaign or if you would like to support upcoming actions. United we can stand against these evictions!
